Introduction / History

Aynallu people live in central Iran.

What Are Their Lives Like?

Lives of Aynallu people are completely absorbed and dictated by their Islamic religion. They live in tribal groups and are accountable to tribal heads.

What Are Their Beliefs?

Aynallu people in Iran are completely Muslim in their beliefs. They believe that Allah spoke through his prophet, Mohammed, and taught mankind how to live a righteous life through the Koran and the Hadith. To live a righteous life, they must utter the Shahada (a statement of faith), pray five times each day facing Mecca, fast from sunup to sundown during the month of Ramadan, give alms to the poor, and make a pilgrimage to Mecca. Muslims are prohibited from drinking alcohol, eating pork, gambling, stealing, slandering, and making idols.

What Are Their Needs?

Although the entire Bible, audio recordings, and the JESUS Film exist in the Azerbaijani language common among Aynallu people in Iran, they remain unreached and unable to benefit from these resources. Who will tell them? Although the true church of Jesus Christ is growing rapidly in Iran, Aynallu people are not yet part of that growth.

Prayer Points

Pray for changes among their leaders that lead to spiritual and physical blessings among Aynallu people. Pray that Aynallu disciples will be born spiritually who will disciple others, especially family leaders who will lead their families to the Lord. Pray for a movement to Christ this decade among the Aynallu people of Iran.
