Introduction / History

The Gade people came through Ethiopia and reached their present day home.

Gade belongs to Gadoid/Babyoid according to G.T Obadiah, 2023. Gade was a coded military name of Gad. They are anciently called "B by " which means "humanity" or a "generic love within a group". They are nicknamed as Gadites, or simply the B by .

The type of government practices, practicing by the Gade is written/unwritten monarchy and there is no central authority. An indirect rule system was introduced in northern Nigeria by the British Government. In Gade tribes, the head of government is g m assisted by B ts kp (council of elders/national economic councils) but there are ministries such as G p d (ministry of defense), B n, T z (Ministry of Land, Air, Agriculture and Development), just to mention but a few.

As written by GT Obadiah, The Gade Tonal Marks were released in 2023 following the guidelines of 2009/2012 by L by Language Development Team held at GSS Nasarawa, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. The Gade-English Dictionary and Gade Phonetics were scheduled to be released by 2024 respectively. All written and authored by GT Obadiah.

A typical Gade individual participates in agriculture, trading and commerce. Pottery and metal goods have been part of their art and culture for centuries.

What Are Their Beliefs?

The ancient and modern Gade religion from time immemorial is g b which is called Gaboism (Gaboism is a philosophical, cosmological and linguistic, evolutionary and revolutionary word coined and propounded by GT Obadiah in 2015 in his research thesis titled Gaboic Theory of Evolution ). G b and gobo are two separate wordings. The later (Gobo) has to do with secret society, and Witcraft while the former involves the practice of traditions, culture, norms, values, worships, religious and belief system of the Gade people. Holistically, Gabo comprises the traditional religious and spiritual concepts and practice of the Gade people.
