The language of the Mankanya tribe is from the Bak branch of languages. They live in Senegal, Guinea-Bissau and the Gambia.
There is very little information about their lifestyle, but most likely they are farmers and fishermen like the neighboring peoples.
The Mankanya are sometimes Roman Catholic, but they maintain many traditional African practices. They put their faith in these practices.
The Mankanya people need to put Jesus Christ at the center of their lives.
Pray for the Mankanya people to have all their educational and medical needs met.
Pray for their church leaders to put Jesus at the center of their teachings.
Pray for the Mankanya to understand from the heart that Jesus Christ is the only one worthy of praise and worship.
