Reunion is a French-based Creole language spoken in the Comoros, Madagascar and Reunion. Roughly speaking, a Creole language includes words and sometimes grammatical forms from other languages. Reunionese Creole is the main language in Reunion. French is the language of writing, education and government, but the Creole language is for informal use.
Those who speak this language are known for their special cuisine which combines French influence with curries and African flavors.
They are overwhelmingly Christian. That usually means Roman Catholic, though there is also an Evangelical presence. Faith in Christ is compromised for many.
They need to take Christ to the nearby Muslims.
Pray for a Holy Spirit-generated revival for Reunionese Creole churches that will bless their entire community.
Ask the Lord to call the Creole Christians to reach Muslims in the Comoro Islands.
Pray for the effectiveness of the JESUS Film, with many becoming his disciples.
Pray that God will use Reunionese Creole believers to disciple others who will disciple others.
