Introduction / History

The Borogo people group live in a small village in the Nuba Mountains in the state of South Kordofan, Sudan. They are related to the Kasha tribe.

What Are Their Lives Like?

Growing sorghum, sesame, they also raise cattle, sheep, and goats for meat and milk. They draw their water from a well and send their kids to a nearby primary school.

What Are Their Beliefs?

All the Borogo people identify as Muslims, though they maintain their traditional religious practices.

What Are Their Needs?

The tribe has no secondary schools.

Pray for Borogo culture to be renewed and enhanced by a work of the Holy Spirit and shaped into a God-centered and God-honoring mold.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to move among Borogo family and community leaders to seek his face and enjoy his blessings.
Pray for the Lord to thrust out workers who will be compelled to nurture a Disciple Making Movement among the Borogo people.
Pray that soon the Borogo people will have faith that will lead them to live honorable lives that will draw others to the savior.
