The Kasha people group live in nine large villages in the Nuba Mountains in the state of South Kordofan, Sudan.

What Are Their Lives Like?

Growing sorghum and sesame they also raise cattle, sheep, and goats for meat and milk.

This is a solidly Muslim people group.

What Are Their Needs?

The Kasha chief asked for support in building primary and secondary schools, improving water sources, establishing health facilities and English and Arabic language instruction.
