The Tabak people group live in four large villages in the Nuba Mountains in the state of South Kordofan, Sudan.

What Are Their Lives Like?

They grow sorghum and sesame they also raise cattle, sheep, and goats for meat and milk.

What Are Their Beliefs?

Though the Tabak people identify as Muslims they still practice tribal religion as well.

What Are Their Needs?

The chief asked for support in building primary and secondary schools, improving water sources, and establishing health facilities. The Tabak are related to the Wali and Abujunuk tribes.
