Introduction / History

The Tasoomi people speak Sudanese Arabic and Hajomack. They live in nine villages in the remote Nuba Mountains in the state of South Kordofan, Sudan.

They grow sorghum, corn and peanuts. They also raise cattle, sheep and goats.
