Volunteer as a Video Creator
Video is a key means of communication. Joshua Project urgently needs volunteers skilled in producing short, impactful videos in the following areas:
- Create unreached peoples video content that could be used on the Joshua Project website and social media or by mission mobilizers and leaders.
- Develop short explanatory videos helping web users to understand more about Joshua Project. For example, we need videos explaining:
- the difference between Christian Adherent and Evangelical.
- that Joshua Project does not have perfect data and the data has limits.
- that reachedness and engagement are not the same.
- that Joshua Project welcomes information updates and feedback.
- answers to various Frequently Asked Questions.
- Create short tutorial videos (sample) on how to navigate and use various website pages.
- Develop 1-2 minute Ken Burns effect "videos" of specific people groups using existing Joshua Project content. Would be ideal for a "missions minute" in a local church service. Automation might allow creating these "videos" for thousands of people groups.
