The Angarok in Bihar speak Bengali and Hindi and read and write in Bengali and Devanagari.

They farm and some are laborers. They are mostly landowners. They are not vegetarians.
On the death of the father the property goes to the sons. There are birth and marriage rituals among them and the dead are cremated. They have an organization that looks after their interests.
The Angarok in West Bengal are not allowed to divorce and widows cannot marry again. Modern medicine is used by them.

The Angarok are Hindus who also worship their ancestors.

These people need to realize that they cannot please God without being empowered by the Holy Spirit. They cannot have the Holy Spirit without Jesus Christ.

Pray for a movement of Jesus to heal and strengthen Angarok communities.
Pray for a "Book of Acts" type of movement to Christ among the Angarok.
Pray for the Angarok people to understand and embrace that Jesus wants to bless their families and neighborhoods.
Pray for Holy Spirit anointed believers from the Angarok people to change their society from within.
Pray for a movement in which the Holy Spirit leads and empowers disciples to make more disciples.
