The Pira-Tapuias are an indigenous group in Colombia and Brazil. Their language is Piratapuyo and they call themselves Waikana.
The Pira-Tapuias engage in trade and have shared rituals with the indigenous tribes nearby.
The Pira-Tapuias are engaged with traditional religion and Christianity, mainly Roman Catholicism. There are Evangelicals among them.
Like all tribes in this region, the Pira-Tapuias need protection. With a small population they are vulnerable to outsiders who want to exploit their land.
Pray for God to have his hand of protection and mercy on Pira-Tapuia families.
Pray for Pira-Tapuia disciples to make more disciples.
Pray for the Lord to bring revival to the Pira-Tapuia homeland and sending many as Christ s ambassadors.
