The Radhi are divided into two clans, Nageswara and Kashyap. They use surnames such as Behara, Patra, Naik and Roul.

A Radhi man can marry his deceased wife's younger sister. All children inherit property equally. The dead are cremated, but in case of a childhood death burial takes place. Some own land and farm it, and business is a secondary occupation.

They are Hindu and worship such deities as Manasa, Lakshmi, Kamaleshwari, Ganesh and Kali.
